Mark Sparacio

Sparacio studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. There he painted movie posters, which lead to work in the advertising industry. He then moved to the comic industry, working for companies such as Marvel, DC and Dark Horse. Famed comic artist Billy Tucci has also hired Sparacio to paint many of his pencil drawings for covers to his comic Shi. His paintings have graced the covers of publications like The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, Comics Buyers Guide and Alter Ego. Sparacio is currently the cover painter and sequential artist on Heroic Publishing's Liberty Girl. He got his start at Topps doing paintings for Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. Sparacio lives with his wife and two sons on Long Island, New York.
