Drew
Friedman
Friedman
grew up in New York and studied at the
School of Visual Arts. He developed
two unique styles, the first of which
utilized pointillism, and illustrated
for magazines such as Rolling Stone,
Spy, The New York Observer, and Entertainment
Weekly. Meanwhile, Friedman developed
his second style for which is now most
known and in 1993 he began doing work
for MAD Magazine. Since then he has
had multiple books and collections of
his work published by Fantagraphics,
most recently, Old Jewish Comedians
and The Fun Never Stops.
